THE TWO teenagers who viciously stabbed Santino Angelo Dymiter to death have both been sentenced to life imprisonment. The killing occurred in August 2009 and both teens were found guilty of murder in February.
Rahiem Anderson, 18, of Carlton Close, Upminster was ordered to serve a minimum of 18 years and three months. The second murder, who cannot be named as he is only 16 years old, was ordered to serve a minimum of 16 years.
Detective Chief Inspector Laurence Smith said, “Our enquiries led us to believe that when the two teenagers committed their attack, they intended to murder both Santino and his friend. Ultimately, a young man is dead and two people will now waste the best years of their lives in jail. There are no winners. The shockwaves of the convictions and the resulting sentences will resonate throughout the families and loved ones of all of those concerned for years to come.”
