Partnership With Purpose

More than just a football tournament, the Inter Bishwanath Cup embodies the spirit of opportunity through unity. This year’s collaboration with Regent College London brings a vital educational dimension to the competition.

Sam Reynolds, COO of Regent College London, remarked: “Grassroots sport is a foundation for character, resilience and aspiration. Our partnership with the Bishwanath Sports Association ensures that young people are not only playing for glory but also gaining access to pathways in education and professional development.”

Azad Ali of Regent College ambassador and community activist, added: “This is about more than sport. It’s about empowering the next generation with the belief that they belong — on the pitch, in the classroom, and in society at large.”

Anfor Ali, BSA Secretary, echoed the sentiment: “This tournament is for the people, by the people. With the support of Regent College London, we’re opening doors for young players and showing them that education and ambition go hand in hand.”

Grassroots football provides more than fitness and fun — it’s a vital platform for:

– Building community cohesion – Promoting diversity and inclusion – Identifying talent and nurturing potential – Creating safe, structured spaces for youth development

By connecting sport with education, the Bishwanath Cup and Regent College London are laying the groundwork for long term community transformation. Whether it’s a scholarship, a skill, or simply a boost in confidence, the impact is real.

Come for the football. Stay for the future. The Inter Bishwanath Cup 2025 — where dreams are made, both on and off the pitch.
