THE GREATER SYLHET Upazila Cup 2018, comprising of teams mainly made up of footballers who have their origins in Sylhet, Bangladesh, takes place in London on 26th August.
The live draw took place at the studios of Satellite channel NTV in the presence of Sonali Othith Chair Jamal Uddin, General Secretary Joynal Abdin, Tower Hamlets Deputy Mayor Sirajul Islam and Councillors Faruque Ahmed and Abdul Mukit Chunu MBE.
Studio guests included Goyas Miah – co-manager of holders Chattak; Rashid Ali of twice winners and three time finalists Osmani Nagar; Selim Uddin – Beanibazar; Mohammed Zakaria – Golapanj; Khalis Miah – Bishwanath; Joachim Uddin – Jagannathpur; Shofiqul Islam – Derai; and Hasan Abdullah – Sylhet Sadar, among others.
