A group of friends has got together to deliver a worthwhile project in aid of the Human Relief Foundation.

Nura Said from Tower Hamlets and her friends have organised a family fun day in Whitechapel at the Brady Arts Centre from 12-4pm on Tuesday, 31st May (during half term). She said: “Our individual targets are £3,500, with an overall sum of £14,000. We all hope to travel to Jordan later on this year to deliver aid to the Syrian refugees that are currently displaced there. All the money raised will be going towards food packs, essential aid and other necessities for the families.”

The group have an Instagram charity page where readers can follow their progress: nura_4_charity

There is also a Justgiving page for donations: www.justgiving.com/Nura-Saira-Sahara-Ruby-JORDAN?
