BCSA launch announces exciting cricket plans

The Bangladesh Cricket Supporters Association (BCSA) arranged a launch meeting at the UK Youth Carrom Academy, Whitechapel, to enable supporters to network and become acquainted with the aims of the fans network. Members, along with potential new recruits, discussed strategies to move the organisation forward.

In attendance, among others, were Abdus Salam, BCSA President; Shahidul Alam Ratan, Chair of the Advisory Committee; Jawar Ali, General Secretary; Nashit Rahman, Ibrahim Miah and Ayaz Karim (Joint Secretary).

During a networking lunch, the BCSA membership process was explained – along with the organisation’s aims and objectives. Also on the agenda were talks around the redistribution and allocation of tickets and plans for events with the Bangladeshi team which will tour England in 2017.

President of BCSA UK Abdus Salam said, “Cricket is a global sport and we are pleased with how we have linked with BCSA Bangladesh to provide a national and international platform for cricket fans. We are volunteer driven. and I’m proud of what we continue to achieve through our liaison with the grassroots all the way up to the higher echelons of cricket administration. I urge everyone to join and support us in what we are trying to achieve.”

BCSA UK works in direct partnership with BCSA Bangladesh. It is a forum dedicated to uniting Bangladeshi cricket fans on one platform.
