THE AUGUST issue of The Voice, the monthly magazine of the East London Garden Society, is now out with news and tips for the gardeners of East London.
The Voice has uncovered a move by Tower Hamlets Homes to change gardening practices around Stafford Cripps House and there’s also information about the Locksely Green Triangle, which is facing being redeveloped.
There’s an update on the ongoing saga of whether glyphosate, the active ingredient in some weedkillers, can cause cancer in humans. The key investigations (and lawsuits!) are taking place in the USA.
The Voice can be read on the East London Garden Society’s website – where a host of other information about gardening and plants is also available.
