Sylhet District to play inter friendly

SYLHET DISTRICT will play an inter friendly at Stepney Green Astroturf on Monday, 21st August in preparation for the Sylhet District Cup which will take place on 10th September. 

The game is billed as a “battle of the MBEs” as Mamun Chowdhury’s over 40s will look to flex their muscles against Emdad Rahman’s silver foxes.

Players on show for the over 50s will include Bodrul Hoque, Syed Salique Ahmed, Dawlath Khan – and Shawkat Ali, who is travelling down from Birmingham. The over 40s will be spearheaded by legendary captain Repon Chowdhury and include Mo Rahman and Aktar Hussain.

Entry to the game is free and everyone is welcome to attend.
